You travel by own means to Yvestown where you will be welcomed with a lovely home cooked festive 3-course dinner and will be sorted into your rooms.

Saturday 21-11-2026

Today we are going to spend the day in Historic Odense. After breakfast we depart the serene surroundings of Yvestown for a 30-minute car drive northeast into Odense. We head directly into the historic cobblestone quarter to experience the H.C. Andersen Christmas Market.

The old town transforms into a 19th-century winter fairy tale with spruce-covered stalls, market traders, and historical carousels. Sip steaming hot gløgg (mulled wine) and snack on hot æbleskiver (Danish pancake puffs) as you browse handmade local crafts.

We will have dinner at Storms Pakhus, Storms Pakhus transforms into a festive holiday hub in December, featuring a traditional Christmas market and spacial holiday food stalls.

We’ll return to your cozy cottage at Yvestown to relax.

Sunday 22-11-2026

Today we are going to attend Egeskov Castle, Europe's finest moated castle. The majestic Egeskov Castle plays host to Funen's largest winter event, the Egeskov Christmas Market.

After breakfast we will drive 30 minutes southeast from Yvestown to Kværndrup. Over 120 festive stalls line the exhibition halls, surrounded by beautifully lit castle grounds, vintage cars, and airplanes. A paradise for holiday shopping, offering everything from delicate elf decorations and winter fashion to local farm delicacies. We’ll have dinner at Brasserie Rigborg.

We’ll return to your cozy cottage at Yvestown to relax.

Monday 23-11-2026

You’ll be leaving Yvestown after breakfast with a festive Christmas wreath to hang on your own front door. By 11:00 all rooms have to be empty and we will wave you a goodbye.

All rooms are twin rooms. There are 6 spots available for this trip, spots will come in pairs of two. You will share the house with 6 other people including yourself. The Stable Cottage is a luxury cottage with a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a bath tub and shower and a large living room.
