A Simple Easter Branch

Getting the house Easter brunch ready is quite simple with a branch and an egg here an there. And yes there’s still a “merry Christmas” decal on my mirror because … well it’s cute and I can’t be bothered to remove it.

It’s on the mantle in the dining room with a freshly new bit of Sandberg Karolina Green wallpaper. I’ve used paper and glass painted eggs from Dille & Kamille and some fabric scrap eggs I’ve made myself a few years ago. To add a bit of whimsy I used little clip on birds.

The portrait was painted by Boris, the Godin stove used to be in Boris’s his childhood home and the etching above the door of the “Westertoren” in Amsterdam used to be in my childhood home. My parents bought it together and the original price tag is still on the back, which I shall never remove.

I can’t wait to have a table full with lovely people for Easter brunch. I’ve found the perfect white and yellow checked napkins at H&M which I will share in another post.

Love, Yvonne
