Cookbooks - Every Day Cooking
Happy Monday!
I have to admit that I don’t really enjoy cooking in Summer, I basically don’t enjoy doing anything in summer as I just don’t like summers. But I feel that autumn is knocking on my door and I get all excited again. So today I want to share 3 cookbooks that I love and cook from almost daily.
This is such a wonderful and simple cookbook with all British classics but much more up to date and so much more tasteful. I remember when I lived in the UK and had home-cooked dinners at my friend’s house ( the people I lived with only ate prefab dinners form M&S) that I found everything so greasy and tasteless. Toad in a Hole made with flower, milk, gravy and pork was one of the classic British dishes that the UK couldn’t sell to me. But Mary’s Toad in a Hole is so lovely and yummy. Highly highly recommend.
Skye McAlpine - A Table Full of Love
I love all Skye her cookbooks as they are beautifully designed and categorised, I absolutely love a good categorised cookbook. The book consists of dishes you can pair with other dishes in the book and that’s why this book is so brilliant. The recipes are simple, easy to make and super delicious. I also love Skye her adventurous combinations and easy salads. This book is definitely a table full of love.
A super clever book for when you want to switch from take-away dinners to home cooked dinners. No hours in the kitchen but easy recipes for everyday cooking. I’m not from a take-away culture so to me this book is a great under 30-minute dinner cookbook and that’s how I use it. I can highly recommend this book to all newbie cooks or if you want to eat more healthier and actually know what you are eating.
On Wednesday I will show you around my kitchen, so maybe a good moment to buy a subscription for only €6 you will get 12 blogpost a month.
Love, Yves
