Since the first lockdown I’ve been working, cleaning (also work), loading and unloading the dishwasher and doing groceries. There’s no perspective whatsoever and that makes life pretty damn boring. I promised myself not to moan about the C-word but today I just had to. I’m very blessed with a lovely home with lots of space in-and outdoors, with a husband who’s excellent company and with the fact that we don’t have any children- yes I feel really blessed about that too. Hang in there, we don’t know when but eventually, good things will be coming. Have an “eventful” weekend x

Happy new month and happy new family member. Meet

Happy new month and happy new family member. Meet Truffel a ginger tabby dude. We had a good thought and chat about adding a new cat so soon after Moose her passing but it was the right thing to do. Winter is coming so we are all a lot indoors so it’s better for bonding as to March or April when we are all outdoors. Bonbon isn’t much of a fan yet but that needs time. He’s wild and adventurous and he makes us laugh. Have a lovely Sunday.

We had to say our last goodbyes to our Moose. She’s been a bit off ever since we got her as a kitten 5 years ago, not physicaly but mentally. For years people always laughed a bit uncomfortable when I told them that we had a cat with a mental illness. I didn’t care as people find it even uncomfortable when mental illness is discussed concerning humans. Alas things got so worse the constant battle of her angst, the many vet visits, medications .... sigh it did not help her. In the end I was afraid she would take her own life, yes that’s possible even with animals. So today we released her and she released and it was the most saddest but yet most thoughtful thing to do. Rest in peace our sweetest little furry nutcase. We love you so much and we hope we have given you the peace you so much deserved 😻😽
