Foundation ring:
Cast on between 25-30 stitches, depends on the width of the jar. Close with a sl st.

Rounds:
Always start your rounds with chains. For dc 3 ch, sc 2 ch and hdc 2 ch.

Work your choice of stitches into the foundation ring until you have enough to slip over the jar.
