I've been a big fan of Laura Stoddart's illustrations and books for a long time and it was just recently that I came across this photo of Laura in her dining room and was so surprised that she has actually the posture and slender of most of her illustrations. I also really love her dining room stetting.

Laura has a new book out and, as all of her books, this one is love...ly!

• Jumbo prawns

Whilst browsing through all my bookmarks I stumbled upon BlaBla Kids and that was such a lovely surprise. It was there all this time book marked under shopping for kids and I forgot all about it.

And I just couldn't resist (or the inner child in me couldn't resist and started yelling "I want one, I want one") and bought these two. One is going to be a Sinterklaas present for Bo's niece.
