During the past few months I've been thinking a lot about my little blog. I've been seriously thinking of giving it up just because I sometimes feel I can express my true feelings, concerns and emotions. For example when I write about Katie Holmes's stretch marks or how George Clooney looks like a cup of cappuccino I get upsetting email. It limits my writing freedom. Nowadays when I'm composing a post I keep cropping bits out and I end up with something like "this is what I've done and this is what I've made, byeeeee". It's just so boring and it really bores me too (the one writing this blog).
I don't know how you feel about this but I find it difficult to discuss topics like this with my offline friends. So I'm fortunate that through this blog I've turned a few of my online friends in my offline friends, friends I can discus such topics with. So after a good phone call with my best blog friend, a set date to meet in London with another blog friend and receiving things like this

in my post box (thank you dear Lisa for the magazines and dear Nina for the lovely Finnish goodies) it makes it all better. I've met so many wonderful and inspiring people through this blog that it would be a shame to let all that go. I'm really happy to know you all!!
So I'll keep my little blog and I'll enjoy updating it. But from now on I'll discuss whatever I like in this blog. So if you get upset because I like to discuss famous people's stretch marks, people that look like cappuccinos or anything else that might offend you please don't visit again. There's nothing more important in this world as a good healthy dose of self mockery. |
