I haven’t been doing much crochet lately, as I don’t really know what to make. I don’t want a home filled with crochet and I can’t find the time and patience to crochet the one thing I really want, a bedspread. So I was really excited when I found this beautiful crocheted bedspread at KAAT Amsterdam in a massive 260 x 260 cm. Can you imagine how long that will take me…?
The beautiful double-sided pink plaid is also by KAAT Amsterdam.
The nude duvet cover is by Beddinghouse and is the perfect base for the crochet bedspread; white on white would be dull. The fabric of this duvet cover is treated with a special wash, it feels as soft as baby clothes. The double stitched jeans stitch around the duvet cover gives it such a rugged look. It’s made of 100% cotton and sleeps absolutely lovely.
Because summer’s approaching, I also ordered a white waffle bedspread I can use with a fitted sheet. I don’t like sleeping under a duvet in summer. I’m so pleased with my new summer loot.
