Some of you may not like my promotional posts but I do as I love to share what I like and love with you. So this is for those of you who do like me talking shop, restaurant and places to go.
I do not get any credits for this post, I truly and whole heartily LOVE The Hambledon ever since I set foot in the brick and mortar shop years ago. I love their concept and the goods and clothes they sell. They now even have a full functioning web shop with the most prettiest things a person must have.
I bought myself those cake stands and a poster and was gifted the beautiful BeckSöndergaard scarf as I was one of the first people to buy something in their new web shop. It’s so me!!
That’s it, just had to share.

ooooh cake stands. And I love the scarf – the colours are perfect.
I love that scarf. The colours are lush. And you can never have too many cake stands! I like the promotional posts, as the products you promote/recommend are usually gorgeous and just my sort of thing. x
Oh wow! Loooooove that scarf, thanks for sharing X Petra
That scarf is just beautiful. Why would anyone not like your promotional posts? You have excellent taste, so I always like to hear about the pretty things you find.
Liefs Anneke
Oh wauw, zoveel mooie dingen!
Keep posting the goodies you find, it’s fun to see them. That scarf is too cute!
fijne dag!

Hello! I work in Winchester where the Hambledon is. I have to tear myself past the door every single lunchtime and try to avoid being sucked in by pieces just like yours. Eeek. It’s the most amazing shop!!! x
I love this post and live just by the shop! I love it!
I love all your posts!!! Thank your for sharing ALL of your beautiful posts! Promotional and all! Love them!!!
love all your posts!! and for me being a swede living in sydney i never get enough of promotional posts as its one way for me finding out about the best stuff back in europe and you really have wonderful taste!!thankyou and please carry on!!
I love this blog as it is – don’t be disheartened by critics. They don’t have to read your blog if it is not to their taste.
Hi Yvonne – I LOVE The Hambledon. I’ve been a fan since way back when, and in fact the owner’s first company used to be called ‘House’ and i’m not sure, but I think it kind of evolved in to The Hambledon. I saved and bought many things for my ‘bottom drawer’ from ‘House’ when I was still living with my Mum. All the items I bought have stood the test of time, not dated and I would buy them again tomorrow.
I live about 30 minutes from Winchester and visit regularly as we have friends and Godchildren who live there. It is more or less impossible for me to come home without buying something. In fact, just 2 weeks ago I held that green cake stand and resolved to put it on my birthday list this month. I also bought a 1/3 pint milk bottle (oh, the nostalgia of my early childhood and being given these at playschool), some fabulous spotty straws and a set of 6 small french tumblers for making chocolate mousses in.
Hurray for The Hambledon and the lovely people that work there.
