Tomorrow is the big day of the very first Yvestown Fair, something I’ve planned way back in May.
I’m writing this post in the middle of carrot cake and Victorian sponge baking, filling cups with my favourite sweets and all sorts of other preparations. I’m having so much fun, this is definitely my kind of thing.
There is cake in the oven, 14 tables on the trailer, the Toi Toi is gleaming in the sun, Bo is mowing the lawn and I’m waiting for the DHL guy to deliver 250 free copies of 101 woonideeën magazine (the press sponsor) for you to take home. And the best thing of all … it’s going to be 24° tomorrow with clear skies and no wind.

101 woonideeën already blogged a preview of the fair. They will be here taking pictures for their upcoming November issue and there will be a TV crew for something new I’m working on but what is still a small secret.

This little sneak preview looks very promising… I can only imagine the rest will be equally well taken care of. Lucky are those who will be there to witness the launching of the 1st ‘Yvestown Xperience’. I wish you all the best and lots of fun!

Zo jammer dat ik er niet bij kan zijn (ben hoogzwanger dus neem liever geen risico’s).
Het wordt vast en zeker heel erg leuk en jullie boffen echt met het weer. Geniet er van en ik kan niet wachten tot er hier wat foto’s verschijnen! Heel veel plezier!!!

I would love to be there, but I’ll be visiting my granddaughter in Wychen for her birthday (which is Sunday but she is celebrating it tomorrow).
But who knows maybe next year???

buslijn ik kan nemen vanaf het station…of is het ook te lopen?
Ik kom met de trein vanaf Maastricht…

Oh nee wat een HEL met de trein naar Lommel en dan naar mij. Ik woon totaal aan de andere kant van Lommel echt misschien wel 10 km verder op.
Dit adviseren ze bij Center Parcs (een stukje verder op) “Neem de trein tot Lommel Station. Vanaf hier kunt u het beste een taxi of de belbus nemen. De belbus moet vooraf gereserveerd worden op telefoonnummer 011/850 300″
Oh nee, is het echt zo erg? het wordt dus niet alleen een zware, maar ook
een dure reis…*zucht*
Maar ik wil zóóó graag komen!

Het was echt supergezellig!
Heel leuk om iedereen in het echt te zien! Heb meteen ook allemaal leuke spulletjes gekocht. Nu alleen nog beslissen wat ik voor mezelf hou en wat ik verpak als kadootje en aan vrienden/familie geef. Moeilijk, moeilijk!!
