The Stripy Cowl

“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.”

– Charles Dickens

It was such a lovely sunny day today. I went out with just a warm sweater and my new cowl, as it kept me warm in the shade.

Cast on 104 join with a sl st to make a ring.

DC all the way round into the ring. End each row with a sl st and start the new row with ch 3 (counts as 1 dc)

You need a total of 45 rows in various colours.

I’ve increased the 45th row to make it a bit tighter around the neck, but that’s up to you.

I’ve also added an extra rim with single crochets onto the first and last row and made a loop.

The yarn I’ve used:
Annell Malmedy – hook 4.5 mm

The colours I’ve used:

Thank you and enjoy the last bit of sun for today xox
